"I told a stranger on the internet that i was lonely and nothing changed. I kissed a boy with pretty lips and I still felt that hole in my chest. I got drunk at 3 pm and cried so hard I thought I fell asleep in the ocean"

It’s 3am,
I’m laying here alone,
Where are you?

It’s 3am,
I’m laying here alone,
With thoughts once suppressed breaking free,
Haunting me.

I know if you were here,
You’d kiss them away,
One by one they’d disappear,
But you’re not here.

I have to remember I’m alone.

It’s 3am,
I’m laying here alone,
with memories of you hastily flashing through my mind,
Haunting me.

I know if you were here,
They would become less haunting,
one by one they’d become pleasant,
But you’re not here.

I have to remember I’m alone.

It’s 3am,
I’m laying here alone,
I’m wishing you were here,
But you’re not.

I have to remember I’m alone.

It’s 3am,
You’re laying there with her,
Kissing away her anxieties,
Making happy memories,
Keeping her from being alone,

I wish you weren’t.

I have to remember you’re not alone.

But it kills me.
