I have finally moved on
Finally saw that you were a chain
Keeping me from reaching my goals
Keeping me from my true potential
But no more, you are gone
Your memory will live forever
But it doesn't hurt to think about it
Not anymore

One of my first free verse poems I wrote. I knew someone who had a long term relationship end so I wrote a couple poems about breaking up.
