I spend my time
Wanting to be you.
But then,
I realize,
I only see
What you let people see.
I don't see
Your thundering flaws
Or get lost
In your darkest thoughts,
Like you do.
We can lie to the world,
Say that we're happy,
But on the inside
We're all the same,
Chasing the life
Of someone who doesn't
really exist.
