The Sun's and Moon's Secret

July 21, 2013

The Sun's and Moon's secret
Isn't how they shine
For their stars
Or how they make their stars

This secret
The eldest star had always thought
Was a joke

She thought it a joke
Between the Sun and her father
Between the Moon and his mini,
The youngest pink star

But is it a joke?

For the Sun and her only blue star
Seem to be in on it too
And the evidence is stacking up

The eldest pink star now thinks
That what was a joke
Is now fact
Or was never a joke

It hurts to contemplate
But the eldest star
Cannot ask the Sun and Moon
If it is joke or fact
For fear of being burned
