the road of darkness and despair
Walking down the road of darkness and despair,
Creatures waiting for your wounds to take you over,
So you are weak and they tear you apart.
You get up still weak but pushing on,
Scared and cautious walking down the road of darkness and despair,
You come to battle field confused and lost,
There lay a shield on the cold hard ground,
It reminds you of the mask you wear,
strong but week.
You see something in the distance,
A catapult sits, a boulder in its basket ready to launch,
All of the sudden it launches and you brace with the shield,
It is just a shield, a peace of metal, the boulder hits with great force,
Your crushed and broken.
Your heart in the worst position, disintegrating slowly, turning to dust.
You scream at the top of your lungs,
No one answers, you`re alone and broken on the road of darkness and despair.
You get up and try to walk, yet you fall down,
You get up and try to limp, yet you fall down once more,
You then realize you can do nothing but crawl down the road of darkness and despair.
As you crawl you look to the trees and see crows,
Waiting for their supper to give up and die.
Demons hiding behind trees waiting to take your soul to hell once more.
You can see every one of them red eyes, you can see the fire running through their veins.
You push on crawling down the road of darkness and despair.
You come the end of the road of darkness and despair,
You fall and roll over to watch the crows glide down to have supper,
To watch the demons come from behind the trees with veins of fire,
Eyes bright red, ready to take your soul to hell once more as if you haven't been through enough already.
They pile on you and everything goes dark,
Its over your dead, done, being drug into hell by demons, a fiery pit you spend eternity in.
Then you see a bright light above you, the crows fly away, the demons scream and dive for the darkness.
Its an angel, wings white as snow, hair black as night with streaks of sunlight,
Eyes as blue as the Caribbean oceans,
As beautiful as a rose on its first bloom.
She kneels down to your wounded body and lays her hand where your heart should be,
You then look her in the eyes and you feel something in your left shoulder once again,
Your heart she repaired it and filled it with a drug instead of blood,
She runs her fingers over your wounds healing you putting all the broken prices back together,
You stand still aching and look at her once more,
She kisses you and your pain is gone that drug she filled your heart and veins with,
It was her, her love, her care,
You feel a pain in your back suddenly long black wings spread out and she smiles,
You say "my angel has found me I was broken tattered and out of breath you filled me with a drug I can't live without. I'm yours and yours alone now."
