Bullets are flying pass my head
My brother was fighting
But now he's dead
My hand finds the locket
Around my neck
My nostrils are burning
From the smell of dead flesh
Its been 72 hours
Since I was last fed
And 72 hours
Since I've seen a bed
I pray every night
I get down on my knees
'god please spare my life
I beg of you please'
This isn't a game
Its far from a dream
Its just the life
Of an average Marine
