Tower of Glass
Slowly
but surely,
we begin to rebuild
this delicate Tower of Glass
Up,
and up,
the glass climbs,
higher,
and higher,
stretching out to touch the hand of God.
We keep adding,
but when does it become
too much?
The height,
and the clarity,
of this Glass,
seems all to good
to be true.
The question I must ask myself,
is when
oh
when
will this Crumble
and
Shatter
around me?
What goes up,
must come down,
so how long do I have?
Even though I know
that this tower will
Crash again oneday,
I will Always rebuild it,
sempiternally,
but for now,
I'll just focus
on today.
