I remember
The days
When you were my best friend.
You were honest,
Even loyal
And there until the end.
It hit me
That with you,
I was easier to be.
I met a guy,
He was perfect,
Yet you warned me.
I told you
It was love,
But I lost you that day.
Little did I know,
You were in love
With me all the way.
