Just Accept It
Hate and violence reign over the people of this world
And shroud the very thing we call existence.
People seem to only think of the black and white
But where is the gray that occupies the back of our minds?
Is it that we are afraid of the hate and violence
That arises when the smallest shade of grey reaches another’s ear’s eye?
Forget about the violent grip of hate for a moment
And take that step into the threshold of acceptance.
Accept that we are all different and have a spectrum of ideas
And allow those ideas to flourish despite your personal preferences.
We should be as one, but are divided by our flaws as humans.
Let us on this day disregard all that is black and white
And just accept the grey that this color wheel of ours presents to us.
