Everyone wants the pretty flower
Who has ever put a corpse flower on display?
The fairest of gardenias
for which everyone does pine
That gardenia is mine!
That gardenia is mine!
The sad little corpse wilts in the vase
forever neglected
while the gardenia reigns.
Water and sunshine
for the beauty- galore!
As for the sad wilting flower
it is no more.
