"Never give up for what else is there to fight for then those things you can not live without" -Me

Mat these walls
That hold us bound, captive
Like those of a prison cell
Crash to the ground

May these doors
That lie locked, bolted
Like those of a forbidden chamber
Unlock and open to the light

May these windows
That show no light
Like those of a moonless night
Crack to pieces to let in sunshine

May these rooms
That are found broken, abandoned
Like those of a lost home
Fall to rubble and leave room for new beauty

The author's comments:
This poem was inspired by the feelings that i was losing hope in my self and things around me. So it was my way of telling myself and others reading it that there is hope and to let the walls holding you back fall. Everyone is destined for greatness as long as they let the light in.
