Cry At Night-1
Giggling, laughing
They sit around you.
They say they’re
Your friends.
You tell others:
“They’re my friends.”
But you know
Deep down
Their jokes seem silly
Their discussions, useless.
Nothing in them
Moves that deep blue ocean
Of curiosity
Within you.
You know why
You’re with them.
You just don’t want
To be alone.
You don’t want to
Go through the
Empty feelings.
Again.
At least they cover
You’re loneliness to
The outer world, even if
You cry at night.
