I honestly feel like I'm bored with this world
With its boring people and boring buildings
And boring, boring streets and cities
Its boring clothes and boring shoes
Did I mention the boring people?
But enough of that, I say! Enough is enough!
I have had enough of the boring, boring world!
I started to wish
Oh, how I wished and wished!
I wished that everything boring would just vanish!
But you know what they say about time and stars
That star is dead
And I'm still bored
Why can't I simply slip into a fairy tale?
Why can't I jump into a movie?
Why can't I run away from this boring world and my boring self?
Why can't I become a note in my favorite song?
That wouldn't be boring at all
Not in the least!
I would never be bored if I could be Mulan
I would never be bored if I could be Bilbo Baggins
I would never be bored if I could be Indiana Jones
If I could split an arrow down the middle like Merida
I'd never grow tired of target practice!
If I could travel with a company of dwarves
I'd never become fed up with their barbaric ways!
If I could...
But that's just it, isn't it?
I was meant to be bored.
I'm sure I'd get bored
Like Rapunzel in her tower
Like Genie in his lamp
I'm positive I'd get bored
But what am I supposed to do with my boredom?
If I could cast it into the fires of Mount Doom, I would
If I could turn it into a frog, I would
If I could lock it in a tower, I would
