Being a victim
Though my days are long,
 They feel so short.
 Pain from my past,
 No drug can soothe.
 Memories they say are gone,
 Still replay in my head.
 Days on end,
 With no sleep.
 Bags upon bags
 Under my eyes.
 My life,
 Wasted.
 Constantly,
 I look
 Over my shoulder.
 Knowing I could
 Still be in his grip
Knowing, I'll never get my life back.
