Oh She Knew
She spoke words that would melt
in your hand
Like ice-cream under a glorious
sun.
Her voice smooth as honey.
She moved purposefully and without falter like a swaying flower,
So pure so graceful,
She sang out above the angry Voices, hushing them in quiet awe,
She whispered the consolations of The damned and the tired.
And she smiled because she knew,
Oh She knew.
