It's 2am and I don't know why
I'm standing at the train station
alone.

The train is vacant
yet it continues to roar
with life as it pulls up
in front of my sleepless eyes.

I walk onto the train
in hopes that maybe
a transfusion of life
will be passed by a hunk
of moving metal,
to me.

I sit on the train
and no one sits beside me,
because everyone is at home
sleeping happily.

I fell asleep on the train
because I don't care where I will end up.
At this moment
no where could as terrifying of a place
as my mind.
