Trench
Boom!
Another one down
I slide down the side of the muddy bank
Poisonous air fills my lungs, and my throat starts to burn
My feet are sore and I can see green spots forming
The air has a musty scent
My legs feel as heavy as lead
Boom!
Another one has been fired
Cool, metallic liquid flows down my face
It stings my eyes and wets my mouth
My hand is in front of my face
Yet all I see is dust and fire
Boom!
Pain through my chest
My head spins as I start to fall
Thick liquid fills the inside of my mouth, it taste like dirty metal
I lay down on the cold hard ground
And take my last breath in this living hell
