Sweet and innocent
Thriving to be different
Never causing a fight
Always doing what is right

A welcome mat

Locked up
Trapped
Always holding back
Never ready to attack
Gagged by your own tongue,
There's no where to run.

Inspired by my social anxiety, this poem is meant to outline the struggle I feel every time I come face to face with social interaction

“She seems so cool, so focused, so quiet, yet her eyes remain fixed upon the horizon. You think you know all there is to know about her immediately upon meeting her, but everything you think you know is wrong. Passion flows through her like a river."

This is very relatable! I deal with the exact same problems (hence the username).
