a thousand times worse to want thy light, love goes towards love as school boys from their books, But love from love toward school with heavy looks.

People know things
Women know things
Men know things
Children know things,
You and I, we together and separate we know things.
You know you’re in pain when every year feels like a millennium
Every week, feels like a century
Every day, feels like a decade
Every minute, will be an hour
Every second stretches on and on and on till you don’t know how long.
When every breath you take feels like a rusty knife is being shoved into the small ounce
Of innocence, that you have held onto for so long.
And then the knife is ripped out taking that sweet, piece of innocence with it.
And the screams you make are silent to those who live on the other side of the mountain you've spent your life climbing.
And they can’t hear you and that makes you angry, but you can’t do anything because its hard to make others hear you, when you can barely hear yourself.
The worst part is when others try to tell you it’ll be okay, they think they know
But how can they know, they’re not with you when you confront all the pain and it starts rushing at you.
They’re not beside you when you stand in front of the mirror and smile, trying to figure out why no one can see
See beyond the smile, down into depth which is the pain that seeps into everything you do, that cripples you and numbs you from things that make others happy.
I guess it’s not their fault they can’t see. Or maybe it is. Do they not see because they can’t or because they don’t want too?
Help me I'm screaming silent tears and crying out my fears, I need you to look past
The smiles, I need you to listen so you can hear what’s layered beneath
The “I’m okay’s” and the “I’m Fine’s.
I need you to notice, notice me, for my sake and for yours.
I need you to look beyond the trick of the eye, past what you see,
Look into your heart, and it will show you a path, that will stray you away
From what you think, you know.
