There's a Brick Wall
The Brick wall:
There's something between us. Something that is strong enough to block off the binding of our souls.
There's something ahead. We are willing to get passed it as one, but there's something holding you back.
There's something you’re worried about. You’re afraid of falling in love with me too soon, before we matured, before your spirituality says so.
There's something on my mind. Are you worth the tears and the time? Have I grown close to you to leave empty handed? Your every move depresses me. The sweet dull gaze in your eyes. Your long eye lashes I wish I had. Your glasses that I can see clearly through, as you are left blind.
There's a brick wall
A division that's separating the two. When I put my ear to it I hear you. We listen to one another through the wall, we hug through the wall, you make me smile through that wall, I encourage you through that wall.
There's a thought
Will you slide a ring under that wall? So we can take dynamite and destroy that wall? So I can wear that pretty white dress, and a red band around my waist? So we can properly love each other?
There's a brick wall, but I won't force It to move. Not unless we truly love one another, which would be subtle yet soothe.
There's a Brick Wall
The wall has gotten thicker. I can't hear you anymore. Has our love become a bore? Was it even love?
That's the problem
You confuse me. I don't know where I stand. Is it behind this brick wall? Or is it in your hands? Those hands that I've held onto once before. Those hands that I let put my heart on the floor.
I'm going to walk away from this wall
I've leaned on it for too long ,the arches are too strong, and the waiting is all wrong. I won't leave quietly in the night, but before I go I will make sure things are just right.Find out why you've left your side of the wall without saying goodnight.
Give me a second
Just to figure out why it's so hard for me to leave you alone. The love that people say i’m in with you is hardening like stone. My will to keep you near is growing old, and I feel fear. I don’t know how to tell you what I want to. Its way to deep for you.
I think its time for me to go away
Its not healthy if I stay. But as I strut away, listen to my whispers calling your way. They are asking you questions of whys and how comes. Its so idiotic of me to be wasting so much time over something that could never be. That's why this brick wall was just a simile. Something for me to be able to justify and make sense of your reasoning's.
I get it now
There's something between us, something that is strong enough to block off the binding of our souls. There's something about the way my heart moves for you, something my mind can't comprehend. So just give me a little while to speak to you, so that I can move away from this brick wall too.
