true beauty
True beauty
In the rain your true beauty is shown
Like a teenage princess sitting on her royal
Thrown
As lightning streaks across the dark grey sky
It’s almost time to say good bye
He leans in slowly to kiss your cheek
You let him touch trying hard not to shriek
Your walking away thinking why oh why
Then you look up at the sky
You see the rain
Fall down
As the water hits your face
You want to run and hide
But you don’t want to leave this grace

if you are ever lost, try swimming against the tide. you might get weird looks, but their life will go on anyways
