I always look forward
To passing you in the halls
Your grin,
A friendly wave,
And those green eyes
I can’t ignore
I smirk
And say something stupid
Because it’s you I adore
I catch myself looking back
As you walk by
Once again
I was too shy
To say something else
Besides “Hi”
I always look forward
But you make my head turn
