"We read to know we are not alone"- C.S. Lewis
"There's nothing to writing. You just sit at a typewriter and bleed."- Earnest Hemingway

It starts in the dark in the smallest
Crevice where a single recess
Of light filters.

It starts in the dark where we search
And we seek, and find that it is, but
Hidden in us.

In us, are the words, that have yet to be
Voiced; are enriched truth. Truth
That reach across seas, and
Oceans alike, binding us in everlasting
Ways.

Words are declarations. Declarations
Are actions. Acting is change.
Unraveling, unraveling, maybe
It wants to be unraveled.

The thread we all hold, not defined, but
Believed in so explicitly. We are the hope,
We are the hope, we are the change.

It starts in the dark in the smallest
Crevice where a single recess
Of light dares to filter.
