The Sea Shell
A million years.
A hundred lives I have held.
Protected by my strong chalk walls,
I've saved the lives of my inhibitors.
Keeping them safe before their time to go,
and my time to provide a new home.
One of thousands in the crushed up shards of my walls call sand, I wait to find a new friend,
and crawl across the world once again.
