Indifference

The opposite of love
Was never hate,
But indifference
It will only take
One minute
To effect,
But one too many,
To erase
For I am lonely
In this well of
Insignificance; I die
Every day to wake
And live another

Hating someone is still a feeling you have towards them, but being indifferent is nothing at all.

"The opposite of love was never hate" - the entire poem is so nice but i thought that line was especially gorgeous.
