Reaching the End of Your Rope
What do you do when you've reached the end of your rope?
You look down and you see yourself with your fist balled up.
Now you're falling.
The rope flutters away but it's still in sight.
You see your loved ones faces.
They look down on you.
Some with disappointment.
Some with pity.
You realize you've lost your grip.
Your eyes widen in shock.
You struggle as you've been free falling for awhile.
You feel the lack of oxygen now.
The rope appears further away.
You realize that rope is your life.
You desperately realize you've made a mistake and you need to get your rope back.
Sometimes a hand will appear.
It will give you back your rope.
You thank the hand generously and hold your rope tight.
You smile at your rope.
It's grown longer.
Or you've just backed up.
As you're running out of air, you look for that hand.
But it's not there.
You panic.
Where's the hand?
Where did it go?
It left you.
It doesn't want to retrieve your rope anymore.
It's sick of always giving it back.
You're crying now.
What have you done you ask yourself.
You cry out and a sudden strength flows through your bones.
Before you know it you have you rope again.
You're gasping for air.
Your feet are firmly on the ground.
You saved yourself.
Will you attempt again?
