Anonymity
Pushing past, crowds and surges,
People, like pieces, extras in a film,
Robots.
I will never know your past or future,
But I see you and I judge you,
Like parts of a location, a set.
Just part of a swarm, but to you,
To those who really know you,
You are a script writer,
A lead character, a mover and shaker,
And to you, to them, I am just the set.
An extra car, more traffic to delay you,
A non-speaking part, anonymous and silent.
So maybe I should reach out to you,
Write a line in for you, introduce myself.
