I am irreparably broken
and I cannot believe that
life will get better
pain is only temporary
is a lie because
scars do not fade
I feel
alone
not
loved
I am
the shattered glass
not
the perfect mirror
I see my reflection

You read the poem first going down and then you read it backwards.

&ldquo; You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You&#039;re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who&#039;ll decide where to go...&rdquo; <br /> ― Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You&#039;ll Go!

Your reflection is broken as you. Good imagery.
