I saw you yesterday, it was warm and sunny after school
A girl sitting next to you
She nudged you
You laughed
You and her both looked so happy
Then she got into your car
Later that day
I heard a song about two lovers
lying on the tile floor, trying to get cool
Staring at the bright light on the ceiling fan
Spinning above them
And instead of picturing you and I
I saw you and the girl
And I think I was okay
