Spared
Have I ever been spared?
No.
I’ve faced many hardships,
Suffered a lot of pain.
You knew this,
Yet,
You wouldn’t spare me.
Well,
Maybe now you see.
The pain.
The damage.
The never ending hope.
You’ve inflicted upon me.
Carelessly you sent them.
Unknowingly let go.
Didn’t quite hit home,
Till you saw me loose it all.
Many tears I’ve spent on you.
Many hours I’ve cried.
Now I can’t register
If I’m still alive.
My heart is crushed.
My heart is weak.
It’s amazing it still beats.
Barely alive,
Hardly here.
Nothing…
Nobody looks. Nobody cares.
Nobody even thinks to spare,
The poor girl whose had enough.
But keeps on going,
Hoping for luck.
