The Arrow
She was amazing.
she cared about me, I think
no, I'm sure of it.
The first time I was a little shaky
but I know that is behind me now
and I think I’m really in love with her.
There I said it, I love her.
We all had those high school crushes
but I’m not afraid.
I didn’t have much money
but who said I need money to
have fun.
I remember the time we went for
pizza and I spilled a coke on the waiter
and the other time we went to the beach,
Those were the good days.
But then everything changed,
you and that other guy at the restaurant.
I asked you but you just acted like
nothing happened.
Life is like a one man battle that you
inevitably lose but sometimes you might
make a friend and you get away from
the constant fighting.
But you seemed to have turned on me.
I don’t really know what I did but
it seems that you have done the
unexpected.
