It's a blessing and a curse.

Timeless,
Endless hours on the phone,
sleepless nights from the strong desire for
a completed heart.

Spending every second of the every day thinking,
where is he
is he safe
I miss him
I love him.

Day dreaming while the mind wanders,
replaying moments that made him so extraordinary,
moments which crowned me as his princess.

Its the willingness to drop all plans, just to make room for him.
to be able to feel wanted, loved.

But
It's the key to oblivion
to a heart that has crumpled
but disguised in its puzzle of wombs.

It's high hopes gathered
all
to
fall.
It's hating to love, loving to hate.
It's knowing that he is forever,
even if he's only temporary.
It's crying through the night,
missing him, yearning for his love,
or the thought of a love.

It's polar, on opposite ends of the spectrum.
It could hit like a high or drag us down below.
After all, nothing ever comes without a consequence.

This piece was inspired from the events of my life, being attached to someone is a horrifying thing and it got me thinking of how this all ends. Everyone knows not to get attached, but why do we still do it? Love and acceptance is the strongest drive for people, and I just wanted to acknowledge it.
