Trusting

Opening up is a difficult
Maybe that’s why I don’t trust so easy
I don’t want to be disappointed
In the people I’m trusting
Trying to have faith
And keeping your heart safe
Live in different places.
I want to believe things will be okay
But I know that belief will fade away
Because the world is so brutal
And the people are unkind
I rather be closed then be blind
I don’t want to be the girl who was too stupid to see
That trusting everyone was a mistake indeed.
