You were ever so sweet.
I refuse to believe
anything else.
How could I forget,
I constantly remember --
the smile that brightened my day
never
fading away,
You were always
suffocating
the horrible thoughts that consumed my life.
Endlessly causing
my joyful happiness and contagious laughter.
Forever destroying
the dark loneliness I had grown to know.
You artfully created
that love all your own.
I constantly refused
to lose you.
I wanted
to be yours forever --
damned
your one and only.
Look what happened
Now.
You said everything would be okay --
you lied.

this is a reverse poem so reading it down its a happy poem about love, but when you read it backwards, well, its not so happy.
