Dandelions, Weeds, & Broken Leaves
You visit me,
 Once in a blue moon.
I find you in unexpected cracks
 And unwanted crevices
 Yet you still greet me
 With a broken heart,
 With a broken soul.
 The dead leaves
 Scratch at
 My broken heart,
 The dandelions give me
 Little parachutes
 To make little wishes
 For my little life,
 And the weeds
 Let me drop onto my
 Tired knees
 And watch
 The wind thrash
 And crash
 On your tired stalks.
 You are unloved
 You are unwanted
 You are broken.
 Yet, you continue
 To visit me
 Once in a blue moon,
And I continue to marvel at your broken soul.
 You are forgotten.
You are found in the unwanted cracks
 Of cold concrete
But I take care of you
 Because you are
 Unloved
 Unwanted
 And broken.
 And I love the
 Unloved
 Unwanted
 And broken.
 Because I am
 A forgotten piece
 Of the puzzle,
 That connects the
 Broken, unwanted
 Meaningless things
 Together.
