He's Perfect

I have this...person
In my life.
Truthfully, I'm not sure what to call him.
Friend, boyfriend, soul mate,
All these labels...
They don't fit.
This man...he's
Perfect. Caring. Tender.
Wonderful. Adventurous. Strong.
Romantic. Witty. Charming. Handsome.
Everything my heart longs for
And dreams of.
He knows my quirks
Understands all my strange emotions
Speaks all the words
I feel echoing in my heart
And yet...when I reach for him,
He dissolves into
Paper
And ink.
