The Unextraordinary
To call her an enigma would be an overstatement
To sat she’s extraordinary would be a misstep
But because one is not extraordinary
Does not mean one is not beautiful.
You can see it in the way she walks
The beginnings of creases in her face
That will one day run into rivers of wisdom.
The way she carries herself;
Not standing out.
But not necessarily blending in, either.
She thinks everyone’s unique.
Well there’s the irony.
There is something beautiful in the unextraordinary.
