I knew it like the palm
Of my hand
The beautiful path
Guided me to eternity.
One, two, three breaths
Pure oxygen filled my lungs
I waved at the world
In return a bird sang it's tune.
The earth's heartbeat
Underneath my feet
A leave kissed my cheek
I gently sent it to heaven.
