You’re in a warm, grassy field
finding a tree with leaves as green as baby spinach
sniffing a scent of fruit, you look up
Apples, with a shade of crimson

You climb the tree; the bark a crumbling wall
Once you get to the branches, you see green apples
puzzled, then yellow ones appear as you scale the tree
Finally, you reach the top

Whoosh! The wind cuts your face with a breeze
finding red delicious all around you once you reach peak
Help yourself to these round delicacies
a citrus like tang with a sweet aftertaste
As you eat, the moon rises

You’ll start to hear something, music?
look below and see
Wolves as gray as cigarette smoke
listen to them

Their voices are soothing
whistling for the wind
they whisper at first, then it begins to grow
you howl with them and it’s true finesse

You feel light as you are full
gravity is giving a good turnabout
you start flying to the skies
but not to the moon

floating among the scattered clouds
you find dark blue jays riding the waves by your side
but then the sun rises
and slowly you fall

As you descend you see a lake
slowly entering it
it’s cool
finding fish and oceanic animals all around
as you ascend to see the sunrise, your eyes open.

A glorious light
gradually giving us
a new state of mind.
