You were the sunshine, you were the rain
Staying, leaving, falling, freezing
Never quite the same
You were the clouds, the whispers in the wind
Always here one moment
Then gone again
You were my sky painted blue
You were my sun burning red
Long gone, long lost
Until morning came
And night went
You were the stars that twinkled in the sky
You were the ocean as it waved goodbye
Forever here
Forever, you disappeared
