Foot loos

The wind whistled above me
The ground shook below me
The crescent moon peaking out through the dark clouds in front of me
Nothing mattered anymore as the world became a blur
I heard a faint voice
It was mine but childish
Screaming under a staircase
Reaching out to someone
Suddenly everything felt wet and cold, like everything was moving so slow
With my black curls covering my face
I let go of the locket in my pocket, as it brought me to this memory
Coming back to reality
Noticing now I'm in the middle of a hurricane

Ive all ways had a passion for writing and will all ways! When I write poetry it just comes to me freely and I mostly write in the mornings or at night. Its one of my greatest Hobie's and I love it. This piece is about a girl who held on to a locket her mother gave her, when ever she was scared, but this time it only gave her the memory of the tragic event when she was younger.
