Winter in Ohio
The cabin I’m staying at is a red, lonesome place
That seems to stand out amongst the blank snow
But brings joy to families every winter
The whiteness of snow surrounds the area
The trees dot the landscape proportionally
The wintery silence that follows brings a coldness
A flake of snow gingerly floats by
Followed by many more
As a dead leaf lands upon the snow,
It is a sign of winter.
