Love is a carpet bagger
Here one day, then gone the next
Always wanting more of you
Even though you have no more to give


Love knocks on your heart’s door
Tempting you with hope for a price
But never for free
Love gives you a false sense of security


Love makes a fool of all
And all are fooled by Love
For Love is a carpet bagger
Knocking at your heart’s door
