They, the evil
Them, the grieved
Other than us
The separate, oblivious

Then,
The populi vicarious
Finds mainstream interest
In the distort excess--
The center of attention

Captures its new victim,
The violent spotlight ascension

I'd really like to know what you intended this to be about--I can't tell for sure, though I do have some idea. Again I love the rhyme scheme and the length that somehow holds so much deeper meaning. Very nice job!
