In The Garden

Sugar snaps stretch towards the sky,
Twisting and tangling the grow so high,
Lush carrot leaves poke up from the ground,
Sunshine awakens new buds all around,
Birds are singing songs high in the treetops,
The water can tips, showering gentle drops,
Purple Zinnias and yellow daisies seem to be the perfect match,
A bunny is nibbling in the strawberry patch,
The garden will be watched carefully until it comes time to harvest,
Then those picked will be at their ripest,
The garden,
What a wonderful place to be.
