In 2001
The darkest year in U.S History awaits
Osama Bin Laden strikes us again
Slick as a snake the terrorists board the plane
Without bags
Without anything but a jacket that’s black
What’s in it?
Who would have known…

As the day goes by
People are sleeping
People are snoozing
Once they wake up
Danger will too
Out of nowhere the mysterious men walks up to both pilots
Then two shots are heard POW!! POW!!
They’re dead.
The plane spins out of control so rapid it’s like a merry-go-round
So fast that there’s no gravity

Innocent people rise
Innocent people fall
Some are dead
Some are hurt but sadly the job isn’t done
One of the malicious men take control of the plane,
While his counterpart is up to no good
Together as a team
We fight together as one
But it’s too late.

We crash in scilence
We crash in chaos
Our only way out is through our inevitable demise
People scream
People yell
Frightened as hell has come to them all
After realizing what is transpiring
It’s all but too late
Headed directly towards the towers is one last glimpse
A glimpse of what will forever stand as a symbol of our coming together as one

Unexpectedly, here comes another
With all their might
They run and hide
But with another
Some will parish
Sadly as it may be
We jump to end our misery
Some scream
Some fall
Some will breathe their very last breaths

Hurting and terrorized
Aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, moms, and dads are lost
About 3000 people died that day
Now our main concern is revenge

On August 10, 2009 we took my mom to the airport
With sorrow ad tears
We let her go
It wasn’t easy, but I knew it was for a cause
Before she left our very lasts moments were priceless
We prayed to God saying,” Please keep my moma safe.”
My sister and I couldn’t take the pressure
Watching our mom leave was almost unbearable to take
Before she left she told us
“Don’t worry baby. We’re going to get the bad guys and keep you safe
Forever. I love you and don’t ever forget that.”
We couldn't help but cry
We were only so young to know what was going on
After the 13 hour flight to Afghanistan
She’s with her best friend, Niki
Right when they step their foot down,
There’s no turning back
Training and training
Every single day is just work
Just for the special moment

The day of the mission was very hard consuming
At 1500 in the morning they’re ready for take off
Every soldiers from every branch that you can name was there
Before they can leave the captain has a talk
But this captain wasn’t just an ordinary captain
He had absolutely loved my mom
She was his right haqnd man
But just in girl form
She meant everything to everyone

Very quietly they all scattered in 32 groups
Of course my mom was one of the leaders
She told me that this was the hardest missions’ she’s ever done
Knowing her, I already knew that she can do it
She was very determined to complete this mission
Out of nowhere there was a tragic shooting
Maybe about 22 people are killed
And 30 injured
And one of those people were Niki
Yelling and screaming
But still saying she was okay
Mom my didn’t know what to do without her
There was three shots
One on her neck
And two inside her ribs
Niki was in very serious conditions
But carefully saving her life
She took out each bullet one by one

After taking her back to the station
She goes back on her mission
Ready for action
My mom shoots everything she sees
Shooting all the Afghanis one by one
And if she’s lucky maybe she killed two birds with one stone
Ready and pumped up,
She’s ready to get him
whenever all the soldiers are done
We all meet in one
Standing side by side
Waiting to celebrate our victory
He escapes
But one of us shot him in the thigh
In his eyes you can see fear
Shaking like a dog
But quivering like a cat
Begging for mercy regretting for what he has done

We hope he suffers like how we did
Every soldier armed
Every soldier aimed
Most of them gone
And we pray
For the ones we lost

There was so much ruckus
There was so much noise
But congrats we got our victory
Calling soon, my mom says
“We got them baby! I’m coming home!”
Once she has arrived in the U.S
She’s rewarded the medal of honor
Soldier of all soldiers
This woman is brave
This woman is strong
This woman is courageous
This woman here is my mom.
