Those Remarkable Eyes
I’ve mistaken your eyes for-
 The set of garish headlights of an incoming locomotive, all the while I abandon all imperative misgivings of running into them.
 Two roseate saucers each with a caramel brownie lain upon the taboret, leaving me drooling over them without ever taking a bite.
 Buttons aligned like ducks in a row on my best work- a hand-sewn Sunday best, the dress featured in my tailor shop, that every customer is biding high prices for but I refuse to sell.
 The pair of birthmarks branded on the back of my hand which I accost with strong dish soap and still, they stubbornly resist to fade away.
 The insides of a kaleidoscope I peer into just for the sake of uncovering the magnificent colors of your hazel brown eyes, once I found them I stared at them for hours without an end.
 Subsequently it occurs to me that the sun has long dispelled into the night;
 I met my fate when I gave myself away to your boisterous eyes.
