Like the ocean,

My love for you will never run dry.

Let the language of kisses speak for itself,

crystal blue wave streaks kiss the shoreline,

sweeping the lovestruck shore off its feet again… again… again… and again.

I put my finger to my lips-

stinging with numbness and longing for him

as the sun shines 92,960,000 miles (out of reach) above me; the wind

blow violently through my straightened (now messed-up) hair,

as I watch the romance of the ocean and the shoreline,

I can almost taste his lips against mine…

The author's comments:
"Because there is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline no matter how many times it's sent away."
