There's always someone who has it worse than you do. But sometimes you forget. It's hard to remember that things could get worse when you see everyone struggling. When your mom has to support two kids and her boyfriend. When you can barely afford to keep a house. When you don't know if you'll come home to someone who's happy or if you'll get hit. When you haven't talked to your dad in a little over a month. When all you look forward to is the good that you have to do for yourself. sometimes, it's just hard to remember.
