Time!

Time somebody told me I was an amazing football play.
Time I was one of the best defensive lineman on the team,
but then time struck and I shattered my ankle.
Time somebody told me i would be back on the field in no time.
That somebody lied,
I was never the same player.
Time somebody told me I need to man up and take the pain.
It was just a matter of time until I was fully healed and back on the field.
